McWhorter Century Circle

In celebration of Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy’s 100th anniversary approaching in 2027, the school established a bold goal to endow 100 new scholarships. This effort, known as the Century Circle, is now displayed through a new art installation celebrating the scholarships, the donors who made them a reality and the students who have benefited from this generosity. The Century Circle hallway is now available to view on the fourth floor of Samford’s College of Health Sciences.

To become a member of the Century Circle, McWhorter School of Pharmacy asks that donors are able and willing to commit to a gift of $25,000 or more. Each endowed gift creates a scholarship fund that is given annually. Endowments provide permanent, self-sustaining sources of funding that financially support students throughout their entire time at pharmacy school.

“I’m amazed by the generosity of our alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the school,” said Michael Crouch, dean of McWhorter School of Pharmacy. “As we move towards our 100th anniversary, these generous gifts help us ensure a McWhorter Doctor of Pharmacy degree is accessible to everyone called to serve others through pharmacy.”

A grand opening for the newly installed Century Circle hallway will be announced soon.
